Nice and Cheap Place to Eat in the Center
There is one place in the city center that we found very comfortable and relatively cheap to eat in.
It is called La Vaca Paca, and located just around the corner from Placa de Catalunya at Passeig de gracia, 21. It is a big buffet menu with variety of salads, meat, hot dishes and coffee.

EL Ingenio - Circus store
You will probably find the time to wander around the small streets that are spread from the Rambla "river". One of those might lead you to a very special store.
Here you will find masks, magic, theater clothes, caps grosses and much more. It's a very special place, where you start behaving like a child, and a good place to find special presents :)

TIBIDABO mountain
One of the places that are less known to the simple tourist, but worth a visit is Tibidabo. It is located on a mountain with a spectacular view to the city. There is a Catholic church, the Temple de Sagrat Cor, an amusement park, and a telecommunications tower (Torre de Collserola) at the top.
The way to the mountain is combined of 2 phases: first you arrive with a bus (195), car or by foot to
the mountain base. Then you use the funicular to go up the mountain.
Make the trip on the clearest day possible, so that nothing will cover the view. Opening hours - The times for the Blue tram, Funicular, and Amusement park depend on the weather, the time of the year etc. Make sure the funicular is working the day you plan to arrive!!!
(P.s the meaning of the name TibiDabo is "I will give to you")

MIES VAN DER ROHE PAVILION
The Barcelona Pavilion was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe as the national Pavilion of Germany for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition and was disassembled in 1930.
It was built of different kinds of marble, steel and glass.
It was reconstructed by Ignasi de Sola-Morales, Cristian Cirici and Fernando Ramos in 1983-1986, as a result of the Urban Planning Department at the Barcelona City Council decision, when it was approved as a twentieth-century architecture key

point of reference, as an inspiration for many generations of artists and architects.
Except the walls, sceiling, water and the floor, there are 3 more entities in the Pavilion:
1. The Barcelona chair - especially designed for the Pavilion, became a modern design icon over the years.
2. Georg Kolbe's bronze sculpture - reflected at the water, glass and the marble of the building
3. The green environment the Pavilion exists in. The green surrounding of the Pavilion definitely donates to it's grace, and multiplies its elegance.
