| The heart of Genova is probably it's Port. It is a modern port, but there is a developed old port area as well. One can find bars, restaurants and museums in the old part. It's a very much popular place. There are a few Hotels situated close to water, and the Aquarium of Genoa is one of the main city attractions. BEER IN GENOVA *** In the Porto Antico (old port) of Genova there is one very much alive place called Bicu. It a beer fabric, serves the audience with big pints of beer, which are measured in liters. The bar serves some food (sea food as well) with the beer, but in the huge territory you definitely feel the BEER every where. They have a children meal, but probably not in the evening. INTERESTING TRANSPORTATION Interesting transportation in Genova is the Funicular. You buy a ticket (same as for metro), and the train takes you to a different experience. The view from the upper points the funicular takes you is spectacular. There are 3 different funicular systems in Genova and wisitors should take them to reach the secret beauties of the city. | Boccadasse is an old mariners neighborhood of Genoa. It lies at the eastern side of the Corso Italia stroll, the main sea front stroll of the city.
